[Announce] Award Presentation - Lt. Cantrell

It is my pleasure to present Lt. Jason Cantrell [SUVYankee1 at aol.com]
with the Preantares Medal of Commendation. Currently serving as
the Basic Training Course Practical Instructor, Lt. Cantrell has been
cross-trained in duties as the Basic Course Dean and the Academy
Commandant. He has repeatedly stepped up and filled both roles on a
temporary basis before.

>From approx. 26 Sep 2007 to 21 Dec 2007, Lt. Cantrell filled in as the
Acting Academy Commandant. There was no warning or notice of this
temporary posting and additional duties, but Lt. Cantrell executed the
duties of the Academy in a timely fashion despite the increased
workload at the time, and the lack of other active instructors to
assist. Without any real idea of when the situation would return to
normal, Lt. Cantrell kept the lights on, as it were, and performed
these duties with limited supporting cast.

Time and again, Lt. Cantrell has proven to be a solid, reliable
instructor. Moreover, he has ably filled in at higher levels with
limited notice, and still performed admirably. Lt. Jason Cantrell's
actions above and beyond the call reflect great credit on the Academy
and TFE. Lt. Cantrell is hereby awarded the Preantares Medal of
Commendation.
