[Announce] Passing on the torch....

Greetings,

As already announced last week, as of midnight tonight, I will be
stepping down as your Fleet Commander. I want to thank each and everyone
of you for your support and dedication to TFE and its SIMs. This place
is the great place it is, thanks to what you all do!

Before I do, I do want to mention that we have resurrected the Forums.
In an effort to In an effort to get a bit more of a team building /
group building as TFE we have set this up again. The URL is

Please take a moment to register there and interact with your fellow
SIMmers. Also, at the end of the message will be the information
regarding our IRC channel.

Back to the subject at hand, although I am stepping down as Fleet
Commander after having been in this position for nearly 4 years if we
take a LOA into account. It is time for a change and to move forward
again with fresh faces at the top.

As my Deputy Fleet Commander, Commodore Thomas Garroway was next inline
to take over as Fleet Commander, and I am happy to announce that he
accepted the position. Thomas, aka Rob, has extensive SIMming experience
in TFE, he started way back when in 2152, he served as the first Fleet
Operations Commander several years ago and reprised the role in the last
year.

I ask that you support him as you have supported me... With passion and
fervour to help make TFE a better place and continue its existence into
the future.

As also mentioned, I am not disappearing from TFE, I will still be
around, just not as the woman in charge :). As final act as Fleet
Commander, I want to take this opportunity to promote Commodore Thomas
Garroway to the rank of Rear Admiral. He will need it for his new job,
and also earned it with all the hard work he has done for TFE!

When you are online, to register your nick type /msg nickserv register

When you have done so, we will add you to the channel's ops list with
