    Rog was pacing back and forth in front of the  viewscreen. He didn't care 
one bit for what was going on over on the waystation.  Sanderson reported 
that the outgoing Romulan messages were on a loop. From what  he gathered from 
Fraiser and Mason, they'd found zilch. Of course what concerned  him the most at 
the moment was that the longer they stayed here, the greater the  risk to the 
Task Force. The Apollo and Venus were ok, however the Morningstar  and 
Meridian had taken damage. So the Task Force was in no shape to face a  Romulan 
battlegroup or whatever the Rommies called their fleets.
 
    He stopped his pacing and said,"Sanderson, contact the  other ships and 
inform them that as soon as our away teams are recovered, we'll  be heading to 
Forrest Outpost at best possible speed." Tapping the nearest comm  button he 
said,"Fraiser, Mason, if your teams haven't found any useful  information say 
within the next hour, I want you back aboard the Meridian. We  have reason to 
believe this whole waystation thing, has been a set up." Tapping  the internal 
comm button he said,"Timo, what is the best possible speed you can  give me? 
I'm looking to pull out of here asap. Katrina, keep monitoring sensors  for any 
Rommie ships."
 
    Rog tapped Dougsdale and said,"Dougsdale, set a  course for Forrest 
Outpost as soon as the away teams have returned." Dougsdale  replied,"Aye sir." 
Going back to the internal comm button, Rog tapped it and  said,"Chief Friedrich, 
have some of your people bring some coffee and sandwiches  up to the Bridge 
please."
He resumed the captain's chair and started to think of how he was going to  
explain the failure of this mission to the admiral. It was something Rog wasn't 
 looking forward to.
