Rog sat nervously in the captain's chair. They were still at Warp 4.1
and heading into who knew what kind of opposition. Kilburn of the Mir, as
well as the Wasp and Seawolf, were dead ahead in an arrowhead formation. To
the Meridian's right was Capt. Kurisawa and the Constitution. Beyond him,
were the Nagasaki and Stalingrad. Off to their left was Pantheon and Knight's
Aurora. The remaining Sol and the Venus class ships were covering their
rear.

Sheppard said, "Sir, coming out of warp..now."

Just as the stars realigned themselves, everyone could see a Klingon BOP
blowing up. Rog said, "Well Ian, we can't let the Challenger have all the
fun now can we? You may fire as soon as you're locked on target." Turning to
Science and Comms he said, "Blokpoel, keep me aware of damage reports.
Redlin, I'll need your help to coordinate things with the smaller ships in Beta
Group. Sheppard, standard evasive maneuvers."

Tapping the comm button Rog said, "Timo, we're in it now. Give me your
best." Then, he contacted Sickbay and said, "Mr. Corbett, the dance has
begun for us. Be prepared to receive casualties." After releasing the comm
button he said, "Well people let's send some of these Klingons and Nausis to the
happy hunting grounds shall we?" Now he sat back in the captain's chair,
the nervousness oddly gone. It was replaced by an eerie calm.
