~~Armory~~

Vic was glad that the Challenger had some other ships covering them at
last. Looking at his sensors, he picked up the Nightingale and the New
Delhi. They seemed to be attacking the three remaining Klingons and so Vic
decided to concentrate the Challengers firepower on those BOP's. Fortunately,
the order to have non essential personnel evacuated to the pods, did not
include Armory personnel. He said, "Galloway, have the forward torpedoes
loaded."

Galloway responded, "Aye sir." A few moments later, the torpedo tube lights
lit up, signifying that the tubes were loaded. Galloway said, "Sir, tubes
loaded."

Vic nodded and said, "Fire torpedoes." He had made sure that the BOP the
New Delhi was fighting, was the one they had locked onto. He felt the ship
lurch as the torpedoes sped away from Challenger and toward their target.

It was regrettable that he couldn't actually see the torpedoes hitting
home. However, down here in the Armory, all he could do was witness the
destruction on his sensors. Looking briefly at his chronometer, Vic counted the
seconds till the torpedoes hit. Five..Four..Three...Two..One and BOOM. On
his sensors, the light representing a Klingon BOP went out. Vic said,
"Ladies and gents, scratch one BOP." The Armory personnel cheered. "Galloway,
were the engineers able to repair that one forward phase cannon?"

Galloway checked and replied, "No sir."

Vic responded, "No matter." He targeted another Klingon BOP and opened
fire. His sensors reported direct hits to her engines. Vic hoped the
Nightingale would be able to finish her off.
