"Aye, Captain," Alika replied quickly. She was already coordinating
reports from Beta Fleet, and added a call to RAdmiral Garroway.

<< Endeavor, Endeavor, this is Meridian, do you read?

>> Meridian, Endeavor. Go ahead. <<

<< Thank you Endeavor. Capt Finney would like to speak with RAdmiral
Garroway regarding possible boarding procedures of the remaining Romulan vessel.
Would the Admiral have instructions or give such
permissions? >>

>> Negative, Meridian, no boarding protocols for this mission have been
established. What has Captain Kurisawa said on the matter? <<

Alika rerouted the comms to a three-way conference with Constitution and
Endeavor, and asked, << Has Constitution prepared any kind of boarding
protocols for the remaining Romulan ship? >>

<< Endeavor, Meridian. This is Constitution. We have sensor damage
preventing us full disclosure on the status of the Romulan ship. We have hull
breaches under repair on decks C-D and a hull fracture in the starboard
nacelle. No vital systems damage, but DC teams and additional help from our
Security personnel are reestablishing atmospheric containment on the saucer
and hull techs are already in EV repairing the nacelle shell. At this time,
we do not feel we can spare crew to mount any kind of personnel assault
force. Capt Kurisawa says 'let them fry or freeze over there, as long as they
aren't shooting at us.' >>

<< Affirmative Constitution. Standby please. >> "I guess that's a 'no',"
Alika said to Capt Finney, with a bit of uncertainty.

Rog stood by as the conversations were going on. He nodded and said,
"Admiral, wouldn't it be a good idea to at least try to capture this Rommie? We
could learn so much about them, things that we could use against them in
the future."

>> This is Garroway," came the reply. "Captain Finney, I concur with
Captain Kurisawa. They just hit a self-destruct in front of you, and the
report I read on your waystation showed a love of booby-traps. /If/ we can get
more information on them, we'll get it some other way. <<

Rog had to admit that the admiral was right about booby traps being a
Rommie modus operandi. He replied, "Yes sir, very well."

>> And Finney, be advised: my Science Officer is picking up a lot of
ghost signals from our vantage. He thinks it may be radiation bounce from the
nebula off other cloaked ships. Just because it's visible, doesn't
mean it's the last one. I'm not sure what their endgame is, but we're not
out of the woods, yet. Send that to all remaining Beta ships. <<

"Very good sir, will do." Looking at Redlin, he said, "Alert all Beta
Group ships Redlin. There may be more bad guys out there."

"Aye aye, Capt. Immediately Sir." Alika scrambled and encrypted a separate
individual message and sent them out to over 121 separate, individual
points. Some points were ships, some were empty coordinates in space, but to
Romulan sensors they were indistinguishable from one another. There could be
3 ships and 118 ghosts, or 121 ships en route to the Ghost Nebula.
