Rog turned and asked Blokpoel, "Lieutenant, what's our status and the
status of Beta Group? The Madrid looks crippled. Redlin, have any of our
ships issued distress calls?"

Suzanna was going through the sensor data as best she could, she didn't
have the tactical sensors quite like the armoury station had access to,
but instead she was using science data. A ship has an exhaust, no matter
what it used. That meant heat, that meant gasses. The search algorythm
that the computer was chewing on searched for specific combinations.

"Captain, they have launched fighters, they are trying to strafe our
flank... the bigger ships are aiming for our lead ships." Suzanna report.

Rog held onto the captain's chair as the ship was rocked yet again
by a Nausi hit. The Meridian was giving as good as it got, but the
Nausis were persistent little devils. He turned and said, "Blokpoel,
damage report."

Suzanna struggled back to her feet, having been thrown to the deck as the
ship had rocked again. "From what I can tell, some of the sensor pallets
have been damaged.... I need those to support tactical, Captain."

As Rog listened to his Science chief, he hoped Ian and his people
were able to still hit the Nausis. Suddenly one Nausi fighter was hit,
as it rolled over, it hit one of its comrades and they both exploded.
"Great shooting, Ian, a two for one special." Tapas reported there were
five casualties from the latest hit and they were all Science personnel.

There was no time to watch the screen, her focus was on her readings,
but she did hear the compliment from the Captain to Fraser and it was
good news, in a bad situation. Even worse when she had the report come
through from the repair team she had sent to the pallets. "Captain... we
have casualties on deck E, they were trying to fix the sensor pallets
that were damaged. Can't say how bad it is for them." She had to stay
focused. As much as she wanted to run down to E-deck, she had to stay
here or they'd all die. The team had to stay as a team, she knew that
much. As much as Finney had ordered the other ships not to break
formation, the same was for the people on the ship. "Alika... have
medical send a team to E-deck."

Rog simply nodded in response to Blokpoel's information. While he realized
the importance of it, he was too concerned about the battle at the moment.
