T'Lara looked over the devices she had been examining once more.  There were definitely incosistencies about them, things that she couldn't, as yet, identify and determine, such as their actual function.  Logically, all things that Klingons would employ had been investigated, and dismissed, because the devices served no function remotely connected to them.  She would not have thought the Klingons capable of such subtlety.
The Vulcan was aware that the Klingon acquaintence of the captain was on board the ship.  If the captain would allow it, and the Klingon, called "Han" by the captain if she recalled correctly, would allow it, she decided she would like to speak to him concerning the devices.  Perhaps he could shed some much needed light on the function of the devices she now stood before.  There was no harm in asking, she thought.
Inputting some final commands for analysis into the computer, she exited the lab and headed towards the lift.  Her thoughts were converging on her plan of action as she moved forward, entering the lift and punching the button for her destination.  She would speak with the captain, and ascertain her thoughts towards asking Han about the devices.  If she thought such a course was reasonable, she would ask the Klingon about them and the discussion should progress from there.
The doors slid closed and the lift started moving.  If she were human, she might feel a small wave of self satisfaction at the moment.  Thankfully, she thought, I am not human, despite the fact that I do admire their propensity for leaps of logic and innate intuitiveness.  Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.  Differences between their people and mine to be recognized, accepted, and celebrated.
