     Vic stepped out of the pod as soon as the  atmosphere had been 
equalized. It'd been a rough mission, but not too bad.  Actually, it had mostly 
been as scary as hell. He said, "Well Grayson, did that  op make you have to 
clean your shorts?" He chuckled as he said it.
 
Grayson chuckled as well and replied, "No sir, 27 Rommies in a bunch  
doesn't bother me."
 
 
  Vic wrote up his preliminary report on a PADD. This was going to be  
rough. Just as he entered the Armory, Vic was surrounded by Armory  personnel.

Bushnell asked, "Sir, what are we facing?
 
 
Vic put his flight gear away and said, "Oh it isn't so bad Bushnell. Just  
27 Rommie ships of various classes. Of course those were the ships we could 
see.  Now there were undoubtedly a couple dozen more that we couldn't see. 
So that's  pretty much it."
 
 
 The Avengers faces, as well as the other Armory staff, fell a bit. A  few 
were picking their jaws up off the deck.
 
 
Anderson nervously said, "You're kidding right sir?"
 
 
Vic grimly replied, "No, I'm not kidding Anderson. Everyone get ready for  
the fight of your lives. The safety of Earth, Andoria, Denobula and Tellar,  
depend on what we do here. If our fleet fails to stop the Rommies here at  
Cheron, well it won't matter if we survive or not. I want you torpedo people 
to  be especially ready. Tell Cmdr. Cole and Maj. Boone what the situation 
is. Now  I'm off to the Bridge. Oh and will you guys close your mouths 
before you start  drooling or something." Vic headed to the lift and the Bridge.
